Description:

This power supply is an isolated industrial-grade module power supply with temperature protection.
This module can protect the circuit from the over current, short circuit, high and low voltage isolation.
The Input voltage is in range of 85 to 265V (AC) and its output is DC about 5V.
Small size, stable performance, high-cost performance are the module’s features.
A switch-mode power supply converts the AC line power directly into a DC voltage without a transformer, and this raw DC voltage is then converted into a higher frequency AC signal, which is used in the regulator circuit to produce the desired voltage and current. These results in a much smaller, lighter transformer for raising or lowering the voltage than what would be necessary at an AC line frequency of 60 Hz.
Isolation is the electrical or magnetic separation between two circuits and often used to separate two distinct sections of a power supply.
The isolation provides a barrier across which dangerous voltages cannot pass in the event of a fault or component failure. This barrier ensures that electrical equipment is safe by preventing electric shock and fire hazards.
In addition, the power supply isolation breaks the ground loops and thereby eliminating noise in the electrical systems.
